The 24 Hour Tennis Marathon was a great success

Wolverley Tennis Club would like to thank everyone who took part or supported the Marathon. It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend which raised awareness of the club, and raised much more money than expected which will be put to immediate use improving the facility.

We raised an astonishing £755 with more donations still on the way so once again thanks to the players taking part in the event and all the people that have supported us. We would also like to thank sponsors Tesco PLC, The Co-operative, The Old Village Store in Wolverley and Bennetts Farms Ice Cream.

We completed 39 sets and 359 games during the marathon.
